Specialized Launches More Affordable Roval Rapide CL II Wheels, New Turbo Tubeless Tires

Here cycling newsWe recently spent some time wind tunnel with 10 sets of wheels and found that the difference between best and worst was less than two watts at 30kph. With that in mind, our final piece of advice was to ‘enter the ballpark’ with a budget set of aero wheels and spend the difference elsewhere. Known as the Rapide CL II, the new wheelset will use the same rim as its more expensive sibling, Quickly 160 II, but paired with a cheap hub using cheaper spokes for a more affordable overall package. Along with them are three new tires offered by Roval’s parent company, Specialized.
